Faculty of Management Studies will now select candidates for its MBA and PhD programmes through Common Admission Test (CAT) from this year instead of conducting its own entrance exam for selection. Delhi University expressed its inability to assist FMS in conducting its entrance exam which was earlier scheduled to take place on 4th December 2011 saying that it “was severely strained by the burden of exams conducted , on a national level, by other departments “.
