Hospitality industry, the oldest and fastest growing industry, today has acquired a dimension that was unthinkable before. Skilled hospitality manpower is very much in demand and this demand is growing by day. To cater to the growing demand of hospitality professionals by the industry, a new generation Hotel Management Institute has come up in Pitampura, Delhi (since 2003) and in Greater Noida (UP)(since 2008). It is the LBIIHM-The Hallmark of Quality Hospitality Education, an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institute.
According to an article published in The Economic Times, dated 2nd April 2008, an estimated investment of $ 11.41 billion is expected to be seen in the hospitality sector in the next two years and India is likely to have atleast 40 international brands by 2011. The Hospitality sector has beat IT to be the "largest Employer" and More than 4.5 lakhs jobs will be created in this sector. To cater to such demand, LBIIHM is gearing itself up by making itself present at various locations.
LBIIHM was awarded "GurukulJyoti Award 2006" for being "One of the 5 best Hotel Management Institutes in India". According to CSR Survey (April 2008), LBIIHM is the 2nd Best Hotel Management Institute in Delhi.

Campus Placement

The purpose of the on-the-job training is to place the students in the real-life, actual hotel environment in order to facilitate learning under the guidance of working supervisors and managers. The Institute assures Training & Placement assistance to only those students who are regular, disciplined, well-groomed and have minimum of 85 % attendance.

LBIIHM has an active placement cell, which provides all possible assistance for the placement of all qualified and deserving students.
