  • A rectangular park is 65 m long and 50 m wide......to cross parks each 2m wide are constructed made parallel to the sides.....if these paths pass through the centre of the rectangle and a cost of construction is Rs 17.25 per square meter.........find the total cost involved in the construction of the path??????????

    Sol.
        Here, we have


    Area of park will be = 65 x 2 + 50 x 2 - 4
    =130 + 100 - 4
    =230 - 4
    =226 m2

    Hence cost of construction will be = 17.25 x 226 = 3898.5 Rs
