    A cone is made out of a quadrant of a circle of radius 48 cm. What is the diameter of the base of the cone?

    When we make a cone out of a quadrant of a circle , then the circumference of the quadrant would be equal to the circumference of the base of the cone .


     Thus  Equating them we get the value of d = 24 cm
