                                                                          = 362.04
 Now, Average score of a batsman in eight innings = 58.62  (given)
 Now, the eighth inning be x , then we get
                         ( 51.72  x  7  +  x  ) / 8  = 58.62
                                  362.04 + x = 58.62  x  8
                                 362.04 + x = 468.96
                                        x = 106.92
Hence, his score in the eighth inning was 106.92.
