  • Question:In a certain code language "how many goals scored" is written as "5 3 9 7", "many more matches" is written as "9 8 2" and "he scored five" is written as "1 6 3". How is "goals" is written in that code language?

      Kindly suggest me how to solve these type of questions.

    Sol. How many goals scored ---> 5397            (1)

    Many more matches                 982                (2)
    He scored five                          163                (3)

    From (1)&(2) we see many as common element

    many - 9
    From (1) & (2) we see scored as a common element

    scored - 3

    Now look at  (1)

    9

    How many goals scored

    So goals could be 5 or 7
