kindly tell me how to find out the positive square roots of the surds..for e.g. 32+4.(15)^1/2

Let (32 + 4(15)^1/2)^1/2 = a^1/2 + b^1/2

=> 32 + 4(15)^1/2 = a+b + 2a^1/2b^1/2

=> a+b = 32, 4ab = 16x15

=> ab = 60

Thus solving for a and b, we get a = 30, b = 2

Thus answer = 30^1/2 + 2^1/2
