If a constant be added or substracted from each of an AP then the resultant terms are also in AP. please solve this problem i dont have any idea about this

Sol. Let us take three terms in A.P i.e
a-d, a, a+d
Now if we add or subtract 1 in each term, then we have
[(a-d)+1] [a+1], [(a+d)+1]
Now , here if we subtract 1st term from 2nd&3rd, we will get''d''
Therefore, above three terms terms are also in A.P
Similarly when we subtract also,
[(a-d)-1],, [a-1] [(a-d)-1]
Hence, there three terms are also in A.P.
