Stanford Graduate School of Business

The School

Founded in 1925 with the efforts of Herbert Hoover, a Stanford alumnus, trustee and future U.S. president to halt the brain drain of brilliant students to the East Coast to pursue business degrees, Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) is a global leader in management education. Today, the school has built an international reputation based on educational programs. Since its beginning, the school has been known for its cutting-edge research and offers pioneering curriculum for future entrepreneurs.
With 3 Nobel laureates as faculty members, it comprises professionals from various academic fields, such as organizational ecology, political economy and economic development.
