SNAP2010 Analysis

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test isconducted every year for admission into Symbiosis group of institutions, SIBM,Pune and SCMHRD, Pune being the two premiere most options coming under it. Thisyear SNAP Test was conducted on Sunday, 19th December, 2010. Thepaper was set on the pattern of last year only. There was hardly any surprise.Analytical Ability section which was given more weightage as compared to theother sections was relatively tougher but could have been solved with ease ifone had spent around 35-40 minutes with the section.

 

Structure of the SNAP Test:

Total Marks: 180

Total time allotted: 120 minutes

In nutshell, in order to have a callfrom the top two B-schools under SNAP viz, SIBM and SCMHRD, one’s score shouldbe in the range of 90-105. Another important thing to be kept in mind is alsothe fact that SCMHRD, Pune calls are not purely cut-off based calls, it givesdue weightage to the profile of candidates before calling them for next roundof elimination.
