Part-Time Jobs
One may work up to 20 hrs a week during semester and full time during vacations. However, do not expect to earn significantly as MBA is an intensive course. Part time jobs are available in food joints etc which pay 5-6 dollars per hour. No permit is required to work part-time in Australia. Jobs are available both inside and outside the campus. It is easier to find jobs in big cities like Melbourne and Sydney compared to smaller ones.

Opportunities Post MBA
To get employed in Australia, one would have to find an employer who would sponsor his visa. Jobs are not easy to get in Australia and one would have to be in top 10% to get a good job. However, Australian MBA is valid worldwide and one could apply for job in home country.

Accommodation and Health Insurance
Accommodation is easily available both in and outside the campus. Some students also prefer to stay with a local family. Once one gets admission in a university, the International Students’ Office would guide the students for the same.

It is required by the Australian government that the international students register with Overseas Students’ Health Cover (OSHC) before coming to Australia.  OSHC pays for hospital and medical care one might need in Australia.
