How To Apply
The GRE exam is conducted round the year. You have to first obtain a form from Institute of Psychological and Educational Measurement(IPEM). Address of the Institute is:

After Sourcing the form you have to register at one of the centres to give the test anyday you wish to. Sylvan services in Delhi is a place where you can appear for the exam.


Subjects and Pattern
Quantitative Section:
Number Of Questions:  28
Time to Complete: 45 minutes.
Difficulty
level:Equivalent to Class X.
Topics Covered: Number
Systems, Percentages, Fractions & Decimals, Algebra (including
Quadratic Equations), Geometry (including Basic Coordinate Geometry),
Ratio & Proportion, Area & Volume of 2-D and 3-D figures, and
Probability.



Verbal Section:
Number Of Questions: 30 questions
Time Limit:  30 minutes.
Skills:  vocabulary , Grammar, Reasoning and Analysis.
Types Of Questions:  Antonyms,
Analogies, Sentence Completion, and Reading Comprehension.



Analytical Writing Assessment: The writing assessment section
requires you to write two short essays.
Time Allotted : 45 Minutes:
You have to chose one topic from two topics, chosen by Computer by random an write an essay on it.


The second essay is Analysis of an Argument, in which a given argument
has to be critically analyzed and evaluated. You will be given a single Topic.
Time Allotted: 30 minutes.
